Rescue A Boxer is looking for new foster homes.
Foster homes are very important to us, without them we would not exist.
Are you a person who loves Boxers? Has room in their home and heart to help a Boxer without a family? Has dedication and patience to help? Then please consider fostering!
Foster homes have a very important role to play in rescue. More often then not the Boxers that enter our program are strays. We need our foster homes to evaluate these dog's personalities. We need them to help with house training, obedience training, crate training. We need our foster homes to communicate with us what they feel would be the best possible situation for their foster. The information the foster home gathers greatly helps us place our rescues in successful homes.
Being a foster parent is not easy. Many of the rescues come in scared, sick, thin or broken. Our foster homes nurse them back to health. Then when they are healthy they move on to their forever homes. It takes a strong heart to foster but each Boxer leaves a little piece of them with you!
Foster homes are asked to provide their foster with food. (from time to time we do receive donations). Foster homes may also need to supply a collar, leash, food dishes, toys and a crate. Some items can be provided if needed. Medical expenses will be covered by RAB. All medical expenses must go through our approved vet and be pre-approved.
Please consider opening your home to a RAB dog in need
